My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

RUCKER is in New England and is available for meet and greets with approved applicants!

RUCKER is such a sweet guy. His current foster says he is a very special boy. He is so smart - he has already learned sit, how to do stairs and how to play frisbee.

RUCKER is an easy-going dude who will go with you wherever you go! He is always up for andventure or just hanging out is fine with him. He is great with other dogs and every human he meets!

RUCKER is crate trained; doing great on potty training and has been described as just a love! He is a very confident guy and would make a great pup for anyone looking to add to their family!

More about this rescue

A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.

ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
