My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lola Lu is a 3 year old blue heeler cattle dog. She is 32 pounds. She is very loving, loyal, and loves to cuddle. Lola lu is whip smart and full of personality. She loves to run and be outside. She has been through training boot camp and loves to please. She loves to sunbathe and collect sticks on her walks. Lola Lu is fully up to date on her vaccines and is microchipped. We call her Lola the showgirl because of her beautiful long legs.All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. The dogs that come out of our program are well socialized when they leave unless noted, both with people and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, contract are required. Bark n' Bitches opened in 2006 as the first ever HUMANE Pet Shop. We closed March of 2020. Times have changed and so have we. We are continuing our mission and are now 100% foster based.
Pups are rescued from high-kill shelters in Kern County, Riverside and San Bernardino counties where the euthanasia rate is as high as 85%.
