My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sailor, a sweet and intelligent dog searching for his forever home! Truth be told, he is quite reserved around new people and situations, but will warm up, when given time to familiarize himself. Sailor enjoys engaging with toys, particularly those he can chew on. He’ll play fetch for a short time, and calls it quits after a few rounds, but his playful spirit remains strong. He is not a fan of collars, harnesses, or leashes, and will need more training with that. This handsome dog has plenty of energy to burn and would thrive in a home with an active lifestyle. He adores staying busy, whether it's through play, walks, or interactions with another dog companion. Sailor attempts to engage with cats, showcasing his friendly nature. (Be sure to see the photo with the cats.) Sailor has some reservations about travel and may not be the ideal companion for someone who frequently hits the road. Sailor's ideal home would be one with a patient owner who can provide the time and attention needed to help him overcome his initial timidity. He needs socialization and another dog and/or cats should be fine with him. If you have an active lifestyle and are looking for a loyal and loving companion, Sailor might be the perfect match for you. Sailor is being fostered currently, and it is felt that apartment life isn’t for him. Give him the chance to shine and show you the sweet and playful dog he truly is! Sailor is neutered, vaccinations are up to date. Adoption fee is $100 for this cutie.
