My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"PICKLES" is a KOKKONI MIX, about 9 months old and weights approx. 6 kg.

"PICKLES" was found by Anastasia herself; upon returning from dinner to her home, she heard dog whining from the other side of her fence and by experience guessed it probably was an abandoned puppy. And sure enough when she went looking she came across this beautiful little rocket.

"PICKLES" is a burst of energy-she is only 9 months old after all. She can out-perform, outsmart and out last each and every one of us. But once she has spent her energy, she loves to settle down by her human. She will cuddle quietly until it's time for bed and then sleep like a baby through the night. She is also extremely friendly with all animals.

"PICKLES" is a picture of health. She is fully vetted and vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. In addition she has been housebroken and leash trained. "PICKLES" would be happy in any sort of family.

More about this rescue

Stray Paws From Greece is a non-for-profit organization founded in Toronto, Canada by Anastasia Somers, a Greek-Canadian animal rescuer.
Anastasia has been involved with animal rescue for many years in both Greece and Canada. Recently, she started her own organization in an effort to provide the best of care to the abused and neglected Greek stray dogs.
Our mission is to save as many neglected or needy dogs as possible from Greece and find forever homes for them in Canada.
