My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"KORINTHIOS" is a GREEK SHEPHERD MIX, about 2 years old and weights approx. 30kg.

Anastasia spotted him on her walks in town and made sure he was taken to our sanctuary –after the appropriate vet visit. "KORINTHIOS" is a big fury fluffy baby; carefree and cheerful, open hearted and loving. He is extremely friendly with people; he loves everyone, Anastasia, his carers, the volunteers, his vet, even passerbys. He is also very demonstrative with his affections as he likes to hug people and lick them.

He is social with other dogs but still dubious about cats, should he sniff these little furry things, should he play with them, do they bite back?

"KORINTHIOS" is a picture of health, fully vetted and vaccinated, microchiped, and neutered, also housebroken and leash trained. He would be happy in any kind of family.

More about this rescue

Stray Paws From Greece is a non-for-profit organization founded in Toronto, Canada by Anastasia Somers, a Greek-Canadian animal rescuer.
Anastasia has been involved with animal rescue for many years in both Greece and Canada. Recently, she started her own organization in an effort to provide the best of care to the abused and neglected Greek stray dogs.
Our mission is to save as many neglected or needy dogs as possible from Greece and find forever homes for them in Canada.
