My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is about 1 year old and eagerly awaiting his furever home! He is good with dogs, cats, and kids! We rescued him from euthanasia in Texas after he was seized from his owner that kept him chained/locked up 24/7.

Due to his fear of abandonment, he just doesn’t like to be alone for long periods of time. He has some work to do with jumping, but is such a sweet boy and LOVES his humans & car rides!! He has learned sit, stay, here, how to walk on leash properly, place, and not to 1 gulp his food.

He must have a fenced yard or someone active to exercise him well on a daily basis. No small kids or anyone that is a fall risk due to his jumping. He would be a great work buddy for someone who would take him to work or works from home!

He is up to date on vaccinations, on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, microchipped, had a negative fecal test, heartworm negative, and is neutered.

After an applicant has been screened, we conduct a home visit, vet reference check and personal reference checks. If the applicant is approved, we schedule a meet and greet.

We carry on his legacy by loving and caring for the dogs who need to know what it is like to be a part of a family. Pepper was kind to every human and fur friend he met.
