My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Come on baby...let's do the Twist! This extremely handsome potato will have you dancing with glee due to his charming ways and top notch looks. Please don't tell Twist that he is a senior because he has no idea and loves to dance the day away. Twist cannot wait to find a home to call his very own and hopes it will be with you!

Here's some notes from his foster:

Meet Twist! A curious little pup who equally loves going on adventures and relaxing on the couch.

He has great energy levels for a 7 year old dog! He loves to follow us around the house and go on long walks. He also loves the beach, and if you let him, he'll run when he gets really excited! Plus, he's great in the car and the perfect size to take him wherever you go whether it's out to eat or a road trip.

At the same time, he's the best work from home companion, couch potato, and chill best friend.
He loves to cuddle on your lap, in a blanket, or in a dog bed. He's a big fan of snuggling!
No need to worry about his eating, bathroom, or social habits. He eats meals well, prefers mozzarella cheese to treats, he's fully potty trained and will go out whenever you want to, and he's great with all people and kids.

With other dogs he's usually more interested in the scents than the dogs, but he loves to meet and greet.t He's been so sweet and more curious than anything.

More about this rescue

Muttville is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs. On a local level, Muttville rescues senior dogs and finds them foster homes or gives them hospice. On a global level, Muttville provides information about caring for older dogs and support for people who do.

Through associations with shelters and other animal organizations, Muttville finds senior dogs that have been given up and are not likely to find adopted homes. Through outreach and networking, Muttville finds suitable foster homes for these dogs. Ultimately, Muttville will have its own facility to house dogs that are not yet placed, or that are unlikely to be placed.
