My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I am excitable and energetic! I will need positive outlets for my energy!

I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me.

I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!

A volunteer writes: Empress 💕 The chonkiest little meatball. The sweetest one too. We are overwhelmed by her adorable ways - both looks and behavior. We babble sweet things at her endlessly, a side effect of being in her presence. In return she gives us bear hugs, propping on our laps with arms around our waists. She flashes us her wide mouthed "smile", happy and relaxed to be around people. And she lands some gentle kisses on my face. We are in love and you would be too.

Empress came in with another dog and 2 cats, when their guardian lost their home. Though she came in with other pets, they did not get along so she is recommended to be your one and only. She is reported to be friendly and playful with strangers, and to love being where people are, and even enjoyed the groomer. She is available for direct adoption. You can meet her by going to the shelter and asking for her, you can reserve her at the emergency placement link in our bio, or you can complete the pre-screener to have your information sent to interested rescues. Other please please share Empress to find her home.
