My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sensitive little lady is Lita, and she is looking for a patient home to call her own while she is still learning the ropes, and that strangers can be friends—with some help and encouragement. Her ideal day consists of; sniffing out her kibble or treats, finding the best sticks to carry, plenty of playtime with her toys and two and four-legged foster siblings, and then finally settling down to fall asleep in your lap or on the couch when it's all over. Have a shoulder to spare in need of a snout? Lita's favorite way to show you that she loves you is by nuzzling her face into you with some kisses.

She is still working on building her confidence while out on walks, and prefers quiet and less busy neighborhoods where she can truly relax and feel confident in her environment. As a shy-er gal, Miss Lita, would really benefit from a yard to help her while she adjusts to a new environment and gets used to her surroundings. Once she's had a chance to warm up, she'll be all ready to show off her spunky side, and is quite the entertainer! In typical puppy style, she  loves to play all day long, is a huge fan of toys, and always the last one in the door to come in from the yard after romping around.  In addition to being playful with other dogs after slow introductions, Lita has also lived with many cats and has done well sharing space with them and respecting their boundaries.

No matter their age, once she has warmed up to new human friends, she is incredibly cuddly and quick to make an almost instant love connection. Lita has been described as a  loving little angel, who is the perfect mix of sweet and playful. She is also a very treat-motivated girl who is an excellent work in progress with crate and housetraining, and is easily redirected to chewing on her toys when she gets ahold of something that she shouldn't have.

If you're ready for a lovable pup that will bring pure joy to your heart and home, and snuggles at any time of day, look no further than Lita!
