My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Get ready for our gorgeous lady Beauty Queen! This sweet girl is not one to shy away from the spotlight. Her breathtaking smile and charming personality would surely win her a Miss Congeniality award at any beauty pageant! She thrives on being the center of attention and according to her foster doesn't really understand the concept of personal space. We hope you like cuddles, because that's Queen's specialty! Despite her size, she is convinced she's a itty bitty delicate lapdog. So, she's seeking a home that validates this delusion and doesn't mind all 54 pounds of Beauty Queen on their lap for snuggle time!

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, and for sensitive Beauty Queen that saying is 100% true. When you return home from a long day she demands a cuddle session by pawing or begging with her big puppy dog eyes until you give in. This often leads to a nap, but light sleepers beware, Beauty Queen is quite the snorer! Her other hobbies include zoomies around the house, splooting her legs out behind her, chewing on bones, and chasing ice cubes around the kitchen floor on hot days.

Queen came to PAWS as an owner surrender due to housing issues. She's crate-trained, house-broken, and knows plenty of commands! She still needs a little bit of training on walks as she tends to pull a bit, but otherwise she's a well behaved lady. Beauty Queen is searching for a cat-free home, but has lived with children, and other large dogs in her previous home and should do well with both as long as there are slow introductions.

You'll never find another gal as stunning and good natured as our Beauty Queen! Ask us about her today, and follow along for more of her adventures on Instagram @sphillyphoster to fall even more in love!
