If you are looking for a cuddly love bug and purr machine, look no further than Hei Hei! She may be a bit shy at first, but once she's had a chance to get used to new people and her surroundings she wants to be part of everything you do. She will twirl around your feet and purr when you're sitting for dinner or watching TV. When she grows tired of that, she'll sit near you for pets and purrs! Another cute and quirky thing about Hei Hei is that when it comes to bedtime, she will burrow herself under the covers and lay right next to your legs, and she'll stay there all nice and cozy all night! Hei Hei is a sweet girl who just wants love and attention. Hei Hei would do best as an only pet, as she has been stressed around other cats and dogs in the past. The level of love and attention she'll give you is enough for multiple pets!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
