My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a lifetime goofy partner? Meet Growlithe! He's a georgeous shepherd mix, thought to be about 6 years old and 70 lbs. We don't know much about Growlithe's life before Brave since he was a stray at an overcrowded Texas shelter. Growlithe won the hearts of the shelter staff with his puppy dog eyes and obsession with tennis balls. He has been through a lot of stress and change in these last few months, but give him a little time and space to adjust and he will be your number one companion. Growlithe needs a cat-free home but does get along well with other dogs. He loves nothing more than playing fetch so if you're able to do that, you'll be golden. You'll be our hero if you give Growlithe his forever home - he is so deserving of a family of his own!

More about this rescue

We are an entirely foster-based rescue in Lincoln, Nebraska. Because we do not have a physical shelter location, our animals are placed directly into foster homes where they immediately begin learning how to be outstanding companion animals.
