Dog's Name: Pup Glenda (GLE0224CHEFD)
Estimated Breed: Lab/Hound Mix
Approximate Age: DOB 12/5/2023 - 4 months
Approximate Weight: 25 LBS
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $500
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: What is there to say about this girl…Glenda is young, super playful, and just the sweetest girl ever. She loves all other dogs, has met a cat with little reaction, kids and every person she has ever met. Glenda is housebroken, uses a doggy door and sleeps either in her doggie bed or preferably with her foster mom. Being a young girl she is full of energy and loves play time with both her people and any dog that will play with her. Glenda would prefer another dog in the house, but with humans that are fairly active and outdoorsy she’d do fine. Glenda rides nicely in the car, but is a little scared transitioning from the outside of the car to the inside. Glenda’s sweet personality and disposition would make her an awesome addition to any household who has the time for a young active girl. Submit an application today and change this beautiful girl's life forever!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
