Meet Bruno 6894
For the first 10 minutes of the photo session, Bruno was cooperative, respectful, and polite but he remained quite stoic with a look that world class poker players would have envied. The photographer sat down to give first time park visitor Bruno a little more time to adjust to the new environment. A couple of minutes later, 5-year-old Bruno came up to the human and stood quietly in front of him. The photographer reached out and gave Bruno some comforting touches and a kind caress of his ears and his head. Suddenly Bruno’s face broke into the most wonderful smile that never left for the rest of the photo session. We are not sure why Bruno had been abandoned but the joy had returned as had his desire just to be close and fulfill a sense of belonging with a human. As he appreciated the loving attention, hotdog treats were tossed to him which he adroitly caught with great eye/mouth coordination. Somewhere in his past, Bruno had been loved and is perfectly house trained.
