My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dawn is a 4-year-old Hound, with maybe some Terrier mix.  Dawn is around 30 pounds, fully vetted, crate and house trained and does well on a leash.

Dawn loves to be around people and be your shadow, and if you let her sit on your lap and would actually just prefer to be a homebody. In her current foster home Dawn does good with other dogs, but prefers dogs that are her size or bigger, so no little dogs for her and no cats!

Dawn has been around children at adoption events and has done well with them

If you are interested in adopting Dawn, please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
