My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Candy! Our sweetest three-legged tripod kitty. She's fully acclimated to having three paws - she runs up and down the stairs, can jump on the bed and surfaces, and uses her scratching post very often :)

Candy was originally found with a homeless man who refused to give her up despite her gnarly leg infection. Thankfully, one of our TNR (trap-neuter-rescue) volunteers was able to offer him $50 in exchange for Candy. She got the necessary veterinarian care, where she had to get her front paw amputated. She’s now no longer in pain and is thriving with her foster mom. She’s waiting and would love to be a spoiled baby with her new family! Even after everything she’s been through, she’s a bundle of love and one of the most resilient cats we’ve had in our care. She loves to play with balls and strings on her scratching post!
