Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Cafecito. He was hit by a car and probably lived on the street before he came to the clinic. Because of this past, he often marks things. He was most likely mistreated by men in the past as he growls and barks at them. It can take some time for him to warm up to a new person. He loves pets once he trusts you, and likes company. He looks like a long sausage dog! He had to have a few hip surgeries because of the incident with the car. Long term he might favor his back leg, but that doesn’t stop him from exploring!

Interview

Once we have received your application, a team member will contact you to discuss your adoption inquiry and desired pet!

3.
Meet the Pet

An arrangement is made with you to meet the adoptable rescue, followed by home visit. During the visit, we'll discuss tips for rescue pets.

4.
Approve Application

A team member will contact you upon adoption approval and send our adoption contract along.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

All adoptions are made official with a signed contract & donation fee.

6.
Home Check

We'll work with you to arrange the pick up or drop off of your new furry best friend!

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process was designed to help ensure that we select the best homes for our animals.

Adoption Fees to Support Our Non-Profit Rescue:
Puppies (under 12 months) - $350
Adult dogs (over 12 months) - $275
Kittens (under 12 months) - $175
2 kittens (because 2 are better than 1 :) - $300
Adult cats (over 12 months) - $150

The adoption donation helps to offset part of the veterinary care and temporary boarding costs of the adopted pet.

Any additional donation is greatly appreciated and will hep us to continue our lifesaving work!
