Meet the Pet
This helps The Rescue Crew with pet care costs.
Hey, I'm Archie. My favorite things are chew toys, belly rubs, snuggling, and going for walks, not always in that order. Actually, if we could just live all of life either walking or snuggling, that would be way cool! Oh, and I'd like to go everywhere with you! If you are going out, I love, love, love adventures! I am on my best behavior wherever I might meet new people and crowds are my happy place, especially if I get to say high to everyone! I am sweet, gentle, and I have absolutely no fear of new people or things.
Speaking of fear, my foster mom says I could use just a small dose. What is fear, anyway? If I see it, I want to check it out! Did I mention that I love adventures? Oh, and squirrels. I love those, too! I'd really like to get my paws on one! I bet they squeak like my toys! My foster mom thinks that my interest in squirrels may translate to cats too. I don't know what those are, but she says I don't get to find out.
Oh, and another think I I really, really, reallllly like is when I get to sleep on the bed. My foster mom makes me go in my kennel at bedtime and I do fine, but I always run to her bed first just to see if she will let me stay there instead. No luck... yet. I'm sure my sweet, hopeful eyes will get her any day now!
When I'm not off on an epic adventure, which is most days, my go-to ways to occupy myself are playing with the other dogs here or, if they wont play anymore, I like chewing on a bone next to my foster mom. I know which dog-bed to sit on to get treats and I will lay quietly next to her for hours now that I know that's my spot. If I get bored, I will get into trouble byt investigating other parts of the house... like counter tops and shelves! Sometimes there are neat things up there! You can't blame a guy for trying! Besides, if I have things to do, I'll make the right choice.
