My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please read entire description. Bruno's adoption fee is $200. If interested, please complete an application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting.

Meet Bruno. This 1 year old, 109 pound baby, with a big bark, is a Newfie/ Retriever mix. He is very well behaved and listens to commands. He loves his toys including playing fetch, tug a war, and any chew bones will do. He still has some teenager behaviors like shredding toliet paper if given the chance.

Bruno is good with other dogs. He would love a fenced yard since he can be strong on leash. He would do fine with older children and prefers women over men, but warms up. Bruno does have some separation anxiety, but he comes with a heavy-duty crate that he is comfortable in. Bruno is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. If interested in meeting this big boy, please complete an application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. His adoption fee is $200. One application works for all of our dogs.

Additional adoption info

The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application on our website. Once we have reviewed the applications, we will contact the potential adopters to arrange a meet and greet. This can take several days depending on the popularity of the animal.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue/ rhoming service that provides education and assistance for owners in our community to keep pets in their home. When that is not an option or we come across animals in need, we will take them into our foster-based program, work with them, seek all necessary vetting, and find them the perfect home.
