Meet Tessa. This precious little girl came to us from a shelter. She has some major medical issues and will NOT be available for adoption, anytime soon.

Tessa has an amazing foster mom that is willing to take Tessa through major surgery for mammary tumors, hernia and intestinal problems. This poor little girl is very sick right now, not eating and very lethargic. However, we are determined to do everything we can for her and hope that after surgery she will be on the mend.

Please keep your fingers and paws crossed for Tessa.

We have an adoption application, we do a home safety visit, and have an adoption agreement once an animal has been adopted. Our adoption fees are $350. $400 for puppies. Our dogs are vet checked, spayed/neutered, heart worm tested, microchipped, and vaccinated.

NorCal Cocker Rescue, Inc. was established in 2013 by a group of experienced and dedicated animal welfare volunteers. Based in Sacramento, and serving the greater Northern California area, NorCal works with public shelters to place at risk Cocker Spaniels and Spaniel mixes in loving forever homes, and also serves as a resource regarding the unique needs of the Cocker Spaniel breed. NorCal Cocker Rescue is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit Corporation, registered in the State of California. We do not have a facility. All of our dogs are in foster homes.
