My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***

This adorable little fella is Casper!  Casper came to us in pretty rough shape and very emaciated but his spirit has never dampened and all he needed was some food and TLC to flourish.  Casper is a husky mix of some sort and is about 35 pounds of wiggles and squirms.  He is very sweet and playful.  He will need a family that can work on training and help him learn how living in a home all works.  Casper is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $275.00

More photos coming as soon as we can get him to stop wiggling!

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
