My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chrissy is a 5 year old chihuahua mix that came to us from the City of Bakersfield Animal Care Center.

Oh, hi. I'm Chrissy. I can be a bit shy and timid when I meet people. It takes me some time to warm up and willingly approach a human. But once I realize the human is okay, then I'll get excited when I see them and run right up to them and want kisses and cuddles. I've just started sort of playing with the other little pups, but I'm still iffy about playing with them. I sort of want to, but I sort of also don't; but I'm getting use to them as well. On occasion, I'll briefly pick up a toy, but I haven't made up my mind on those either. Once I do get close to a human, I mainly just wanna snuggle. I'm still coming out of my shell, and warming up to the world!
