My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fluffy Chloe is looking for the perfect retirement window seat! At ten years old, underweight, and suffering from dental disease, the shelter experience was very scary for poor Chloe. In foster care she has recovered from dental surgery, is gaining weight, and her coat is now as soft as a baby chinchilla (an educated guess)!

Ten is the new five! Chloe acts half her age and tends to alternate between gluing herself to your lap and wanting to play- wand toys are her current favorite. She will greet you at the door after you've been gone, and she also has a fabulous purr that she turns on and off with ease. Otherwise she's a pretty quiet gal! Chloe's favorite place is in a window seat, soaking up the rays and being a busybody - she enjoys watching all the birds and street drama! She loves a warm, comfy bed- including your lap when it's available! She especially adores making buscuits on her humans a tummies and is quite the cuddler!

Chloe has been through a lot so can be wary of fast movements and too much handling if it isn't on her terms. She's looking for a patient, loving home that will give her space and time to adjust to yet another new home, and with someone who will not take it personally if she gets stressed, opinionated, or grumpy. When she's feeling comfortable, Chloe's a big fan of petting (and will be very insistent for attention!) and she transforms into a purr machine on your lap. She will also play with a feather wand toy like an accomplished hunter! Chloe seems very stressed by other animals, both cats and dogs, so she would greatly prefer a home where she can be the only pet and not have to worry about other animals stealing her much-deserved spotlight. Her foster parent can tell you all about her personality, likes, and dislikes!
