My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chester is a sweet senior guy who was a stray until he found himself at a shelter, which was a blessing for him. They found that he had several broken teeth, was covered in fleas, and was FIV+. He must have had a home at some point because he loves to be petted. Sadly though he was not taken good care of and then lost his home. The Goathouse rescued him and will help him get the dental care he needs. He is a little scared given all that he has been through but is a sweet cat who deserves a good life.

More about this rescue

Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses up to 258 homeless cats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
