My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, wonderful humans! 👋 Are you ready to meet your new best friend? Well, hold onto your hats because Lily is here to steal your heart and fill your days with endless joy! Lily was found as a stray on the hustle and bustle of the streets. She might have been a tad dirty and parched, but boy, oh boy, was she overflowing with love and tail wags! 🐶❤️ At first, Lily was like a shy wallflower at a pawty, but guess what? It didn't take long at all for her vibrant personality to blossom like a field of wildflowers in spring! Lily is the epitome of silly - she's the kind of pup who'd trip over her own paws and then look back at you with a goofy grin like, "Did you see that? I meant to do it!"
Toys? Oh, she loves them! But do you know what she loves even more? Snuggles! Lily is a professional cuddler with a Ph.D. in cozying up next to her favorite humans. Lily does love to play with dogs through the fence into the other yards, so we think she could potentially love having a playful canine sibling. She is about 1-1.5 years old. Lily has been in the office a few times and she is chill. She quietly just sought to be petted and then settled on a dog bed chewing a benebone. Leash manners might not be her forte just yet, but she likes to bite on the leash to carry it, but it may just be the anxiety of shelter life as she drops it immediately going outside. Lily dreams of a family or person who's up for some adventure but doesn't confuse "active" with "marathon runner." She's all about striking that perfect balance between playtime and snuggle time. And while she's great with kids (outside of the toddler stage), she's ready to be the center of attention in her own forever kingdom. So, what do you say, lovely humans? Is your heart big enough to welcome Lily into your life?

More about this shelter

Euclid Pet Pals is the volunteer organization whose members care for the animals at the Euclid Animal Shelter, in Euclid, Ohio. We raise funds by offering personal and business memberships and cage sponsorships. Other fundraisers include a Bark-B-Q in May, a Clam Jam in October, and car washes in July. The money we raise is used to pay for veterinary care and medications, necessary supplies, and spay/neuters. We are dedicated to providing a healthy, loving environment for animals waiting to be adopted.
