Meet Leo!

This friendly and outgoing young male Akita is a new addition to our rescue. Despite being new, he has already shown excellent manners, getting along with other dogs and demonstrating knowledge of basic commands. Leo is housebroken and is a dream to travel with, enjoying car rides without any fuss. His adaptability and good behavior make him a wonderful companion for anyone looking to welcome a loving Akita into their home.

Adoption application, home visit, vet and reference checks are mandatory. You must come to meet the dogs, most likely in NJ, with all household members. Adoption contract and adoption donation are required. You will be asked to sign a legally binding adoption contract. Our adoption donations are sliding scale depending upon the age and circumstances of the animal of interest.
