Meet Mary Lou, a young feline who is bursting with personality. She's sweet, friendly, and incredibly curious, always eager to explore new corners and play with new toys.

She is a cuddly and gentle soul, always ready to share a laugh with her funny antics. Mary Lou's love for food is as big as her love for life. Mary Lou is also smart, quickly learning the ins and outs of her environment. She's playful and energetic, always ready for a game of chase or a quick sprint around the room. And when she's done with her adventures, she loves nothing more than to cuddle up for a good nap. Mary Lou also loves to eat, so you'll always have a companion during meal times. She's sociable and wants to be in the middle of whatever is going on, making her a great addition to any family. With her loving and lively nature, Mary Lou is ready to bring joy and laughter into her forever home.

Submit Application

If you'd like to adopt a cat or kitten, great. We love finding them forever homes. Complete an online application on oue website

3.
Approve Application

Once your application is approved, we will ask you to sign the adoption agreement and pay a nominal aoption fee.

Texas CARES' cats and kittens ARE NOT FOR SALE.
Cats and kittens are adopted by completing an adoption application that will be reviewed by the Texas CARES volunteer staff. Potential adopter(s) will be notified of the status of their application. This process can take 48-72 hours. Applications for adoption can be obtained from a Texas CARES volunteer or found on our website: http://www.texascares.org/adopt Adoption fees may be tax deductible donations.

More about this rescue

Texas CARES is a non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organization. Our all-volunteer group provides shelter and veterinary care for homeless and unwanted cats and kittens in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth and surrounding areas.

Our cats and kittens are rescued from local "kill" shelters and desperate public situations. All are cared for in foster homes until they are adopted.

Texas CARES was established in 1992 and is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. All of Texas CARES' funding comes from donations and fundraising events.
