Hey there, I'm Manny, the pup with the pep in his step and a heart full of hope! Let me tell you a little about myself. I was found roaming the streets of Desert Hot Springs, just a lone ranger looking for my place in the world. But thanks to the amazing folks at Pug Nation Rescue, I've got a shot at finding my forever home!
Now, my past is a bit of a blur, but hey, who needs to dwell on that when there's so much to look forward to? Resentment? Nah, not in my vocabulary! I'm all about seizing the moment and spreading good vibes wherever I go.
You know what gets me going? Excitement! When I'm really feeling it, I start buzzing like a little live wire, tail wagging like crazy! It's my way of saying, "Let's get this party started!"
I'm not one to sit around and mope. Nope, I'm all about action! Running, playing, exploring – count me in for all of it! That's why I'm on the lookout for an active owner who's ready to join me on all sorts of adventures. Training sessions? Bring 'em on! I'm eager to learn and show off my skills.

Home Check
We will come out to make sure your home is safe for a Pug; if you live out of area we can do the home check via Skype or FaceTime.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
You can make an appointment to come pick out a Pug or you can also do that at one of our events (see our event page on website).
Additional adoption info
We require an application either online through our website or in person at our facility or one of our events. Once we receive the application we will schedule a home visit. After approval, you are eligible to adopt any available dog. Our fees range from $75 - $550 depending upon age. $550 would be for a pure pug puppy (which we rarely get), $75 would be for our senior for senior program. Full price list available on our website.

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities.
