NATASHA ❤️
10 year old sweet senior
Stray arrived at Animal Foundation 1/2/2024
Hi, my name is Natasha and I am the sweetest girl ever! My foster mom says there’s not a mean bone in my body, I’m very easy going. Besides my daily walks, some sunbathing and occasional car rides I like to rest on the couch and get my beauty sleep. I get a long well with other dogs and humans as I basically keep to myself. My rescue found out I have diabetes that requires a shot of insulin twice a day, my foster mom tells me I’m so strong because I don’t even flinch at the poke! So happy they diagnosed this since I’ve been untreated for so long… and the diabetes has reaked havoc on my eyes and eyesight over the years. I’m also on eyedrops now to help but I have lost some vision so I’d do best to be never left alone around any scary pools, etc. I’m also a bit hard of hearing but seriously guys what do you expect I’m an older lady!! I love to snuggle up to my foster parents and watch TV just as much as I love mealtime. Im potty trained but do need to be let out throughout the day. My ideal home would have someone that can give me attention and is home more than not, be responsible for my medications and live a simple life with me. I just want to love you and be loved. My medications are pretty inexpensive too. Also, I do not shed which is fantastic but I will require grooming.

Our animals are kept in foster care until we find them the best forever home. All prespective adopters fill out our interest form and have a home check as well as a meet and greet with the animal they are considering adopting. A small adoption fee is asked for depending on the animal and it's age etc. An adoption contract is signed by both parties and if there is any issue with the animal after adoption the adopter agrees to return the animal to us.

Our dream at Vegas Pet Rescue Project is to positively impact the Las Vegas homeless, abused and abandoned pets that overwhelm our shelter system by giving them a new lease on LIFE. Our primary focus will be to assist the local animal shelters (Animal Foundation and Henderson Shelter) with the pets who have been given limited time to be adopted before they are removed from the shelter system due to a multitude of reasons. We will accomplish this goal through our extensive network of foster families, donations, and sponsors. We would also like to help finance spay and neuter programs to help low income families be responsible pet owners and decrease the overpopulation issues we face in Vegas. We also feel it important to collect pet supplies and food for local rescues and the city’s Good Samaritans who foster rescue pets and take in strays. Eventually we would love to help create a volunteer based program to investigate and bring down illegal breeding. We have been helping the pet rescue effort in the city for 3 years now and feel like we are just getting started.
