Nutter Butter entered Los Angeles Animal Services - Chesterfield Square as as stray, and sadly, no one came to claim him. So, on March 5th, we scooped him up to become a Frosted Face. Nutter Butter 10 years, weighs 7 lbs., and is as sweet as he is cute!
Nutter Butter went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn what he is like in a home.
During his two-week Frosted Fling, his Fling Mom described his ideal forever home as one with cozy dog beds, warm laps, ample affection, and a fuzzy heated blanket. Although he doesn't fancy cats, he welcomes other furry companions.
Nutter Butter enjoys leisurely walks, behaves well on a leash, and is friendly towards humans and dogs alike. He's not an avid fetch player and doesn't engage in excessive chewing due to his dental issues, however he delights in interactive play, especially chasing games with humans.
During his stay, Nutter Butter bonded effortlessly with senior pitbull mixes, displaying good manners and adaptability. He adores people of all ages and relishes affection, snuggles, and naps. He's easygoing during grooming sessions and shows a preference for human companionship, whether lounging on a lap or exploring his surroundings.
Nutter Butter doesn't need special food or meds, and is calm for baths, brushing, and nail trimming. He isn't food aggressive, has no separation anxiety, and takes treats gently.
Nutter Butter would make a sweet addition to any family!
Nutter Butter is back on-site and ready for his forever home! Come meet him at Open House this Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 1:00!
