My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kira - a gentle female Akita with a serene presence and a heart as gentle as her demeanor! Kira found herself in rescue after her previous owners left her at an animal shelter, claiming they had too many dogs. Despite the initial confusion, Kira has adjusted slowly and is now ready to find her forever home.

Kira is a gentle soul, often quiet and a bit reserved at first, but once she bonds with you, she'll be your loyal companion for life. She has experience living with other dogs and cats, which makes her a fantastic addition to any pet-friendly household. Kira is an ideal walking buddy, enjoying both playtime with toys and leisurely strolls.

One of Kira's many talents includes being crate trained and knowing basic commands, making her an excellent candidate for any family. If you're looking for a loving companion who knows how to live within a home, Kira is the perfect match for you!

Are you ready to open your heart to this adorable girl? Please go to our website at www.bigeastakitarescue.org and complete an online adoption application for Kira.
