Meet Lucy! Or Lucy Goose-y, as she's commonly called around the shelter.
This beautiful girl is estimated to be around 4 or 5 years old. She's about 65lbs, and some sort of mixed breed. Lucy arrived at HSoP as as stray, so we unfortunately don't know much about her history. However, we can tell you that she has been an absolute delight since arriving in our care!
Lucy truly acts like she has never met a stranger. Every person she meets becomes her new best friend, and she's always eager to get some love (or treats, if you have them). Lucy has shown us some basic obedience and has proven to be successfully potty trained! She's a playful pup who enjoys chasing after toys, and would probably love to accompany her future family on any outdoor adventures.
Lucy was briefly adopted from HSoP, and was doing well with all of the people in the home. However, Lucy has shown aggressive behaviors towards cats, and should not be in a home with cats. Lucy loved the kids in the home, and got along well with the medium sized dog in the home. If you have another dog in the home we do require a dog introduction to be done at HSoP prior to adoption. We also offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption to help ensure a good fit for the entire family.
Those interested in getting to know Lucy should come pay her a visit! Our dog kennels are open from 1:00-5:00pm Monday through Saturday with no appointments needed. HSoP is located at 2019 E White Ave Moscow, ID 83843.
Lucy is an absolutely wonderful dog through and through. We can't wait for her to find her family!
