Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dogs Name- Lindy
Breed- Yorkie
Age- 5 years
Weight- 6.5#s
Vetting Done- Spayed with Health Certificate
Lindy is a retired breeder from a puppy mill in Missouri. When she came into foster care, she was so scared and didn’t appear to ever have any human kindness. Lindy would stay in her kennel with the door open and just shake. After about two weeks, she started to come around with some sniffs and licks for her foster mom. She learned what grass was for the first time and what it meant to run around and be a dog. Lindy is so sweet and has a cute “smile” when she wants your attention. We are working on potty training, but she has taken to the puppy pads pretty well. Lindy does ok on a leash when outside. She sleeps in her crate or in her dog bed outside her crate. Her play and sleeping area indoors has a playpen around it due to house breaking.
Lindy is currently sleeping and playing with another foster pup. She seems to be just fine with any dogs. Cats are unknown. She does ok with kids but is still spooked by loud noises or sudden movements.
Lindy stays fairly close by when outside. Her foster mom has a fenced in yard, but her adopter would not need one. She is so tiny so I wouldn’t let her outside unattended.
Lindy loves to nap and is also starting to like sitting on your lap. She has a couple crinkle/noisy toys that she sleeps with. She has started to take treats from her foster mom’s hand.
Lindy is being fostered in Rubicon, WI
Adoption fee is $650
