My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Let us introduce to you a special boy named Jake.  Jake is the sweetest, kindest soul.  Jake is about 2 years old and 24 pounds.  He is great with other dogs and lived with cats before coming to H2H.  He is house and crate trained.   He didn't have a very good beginning in life and he came to us a very scared boy.  His foster family has done a wonderful job of helping him along in his rehabilitation.   He is now able to walk on a leash and is starting to play with his canine foster companions.   Jake will need a very patient home with folks who will understand that he needs patience and grace; he will need time to adjust and learn new things about the world around him. If you think you are the family for Jake, please fill out an application to adopt.

Jake is neutered, microchipped, UTD on vaccines, and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm medication.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet.

Applications are the first step in the adoption processPlease do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.

We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions.

We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.

 Thank you!

Additional adoption info

Filling out an application is the first step. An online application is located on Haven to Home's homepage. Application, references, home visit and adoption fee are required to adopt one of our dogs. Due to the severe overpopulation of dogs in this country Haven to Home believes that responsible pet owners have their pets spayed or neutered. Therefore it is our policy not to adopt our dogs to people who do not have their current animals spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason. Adoption fees are listed on our website.
