My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cole is currently being fostered in TEXAS.
Cole is a male Chi mix, 4-8 months and 3.8 pounds. Mom is a 12.5 pound all black chi mix.
She was found very pregnant and Cole was the only survivor of his litter. He is a lucky boy!
Coal LOVES attention. He is good with cats, dogs and well mannered children but above all else he wants to be held and coddled and is a people dog.
He would be fine as an only dog if his humans were home often or could take him to work. He is a mamas boy type and a bit needy, he just really wants to be someone's baby.

Once you have filled in an application to adopt please check your email and spam folder for a welcome letter from your assigned volunteer.

Submit Application

Please go to our webpage www.texaschihuahuarescuecanada.org and submit an online application.

2.
Approve Application

We will approve your application by calling your vet and your personal reference. Once you have been approved, it's time choose your pet!

3.
Pay Fee

Payment can be done by e-transfer to txcrcanada@gmail.com

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once your payment is confirmed, we will confirm your Transport Date with you, the day your new family member will arrive in Canada.

Additional adoption info

All existing pets must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. Please complete an application at www.texaschihuahuarecuecanada.com Vet check, personal reference and home visit required.
