My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Crystal, a delightful puppy whose resilience and sweetness shine through despite her challenging start in life. This little gem has already mastered the art of being both house and crate trained, a testament to her intelligence and adaptability. While she may still be navigating the nuances of puppyhood, providing her with plenty of chew toys ensures she channels her boundless energy in constructive ways.

Crystal's enthusiasm for exploration knows no bounds, and she's a natural on the leash, making walks a joyous occasion for both her and her human companion. Her sociable nature extends to her interactions with other dogs, as she embraces new friendships with ease. Moreover, her affectionate disposition extends to children and adults alike, delighting in the company of people and showering them with love.

Rescued from the streets in a state of starvation, Crystal's transformation is nothing short of remarkable. With tender care and nourishment, she has blossomed, gaining a healthy ten pounds and radiating with newfound energy. Despite her past hardships, she has embraced life with gusto, embodying resilience and a zest for living.

In Crystal, one discovers not just a puppy, but a beacon of hope and optimism. Her journey from adversity to triumph serves as a reminder of the transformative power of love and compassion. As she continues to grow and thrive, she eagerly awaits the loving embrace of a forever family, where she can share her boundless affection and brighten each day with her infectious spirit.

More about this rescue

The Georgia Heartland Humane Society, Inc. was founded in 1995 based upon the concept that all life is sacred and that animals deserve a pain-free and peaceful existence.

We are a nonprofit agency which receives no government assistance. It relies solely on the generosity of the public, striving to maintain its strong fundraising efforts within the community and with area businesses and corporations. We do not operate a shelter but offer services to the residents of our community and their companion animals. Our volunteers are enthusiastic in their belief that all pets deserve loving families and are working towards accomplishing that goal through community service programs.
