My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Caleb, the purr-fect blend of cuddles and chunkiness! Let's get one thing straight - I'm all about the pets! Scratch my ears, rub my belly, and don't forget those magical toe tickles—trust me, it's my Achilles' heel! Now, I may not be the most active cat on the block, but hey, a little extra playtime wouldn't hurt, especially for this fluffy physique! And speaking of fluffy, I'm not your typical lap cat, but I'll happily snuggle up right next to you for some quality purring sessions. Belly rubs? Oh, you betcha—I'm all in for that! And as for strangers? Pffft, bring 'em on! I'm as friendly as they come, ready to be handled and loved by all. So, if you're looking for a chunky, cuddly companion who's down for some serious petting sessions, look no further than me, Caleb—ready to steal your heart, one tickle at a time!

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
