Hello, future family! I'm Amos, and if you're looking for a unique dog with a heart full of love, look no further! As a hairless pooch, I have a striking appearance that makes me stand out from the crowd. Don't worry, my lack of fur just means I'll need a little extra care to keep me comfy, like some cozy sweaters and sunscreen for sunny days. In return, I'll provide endless entertainment and affection.

I absolutely adore being around people; their presence just makes my tail wag non-stop! I'm super playful and always ready for games, tennis balls are my favorite, or a fun training session. I need a fenced yard for all my ball chasing. I might be best as your one and only pet, as I thrive on soaking up all the attention and forming a strong bond with my family.

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
