Meet Popcorn! This pretty pup was found as a stray near East City Park in Moscow towards the end of February. She wasn't claimed by an owner, so now she's on the hunt for her perfect forever home!
Since she arrived as a stray, we unfortunately don't know anything about Popcorn's history. All we can tell you is what we've learned since having her in our care, and it turns out she's a total sweetie! We estimate Popcorn to be around 2 years old. She was incredibly nervous upon arrival, and those nerves never fully went away. She's cautious about new sights, smells, and people, but warms up quickly once she realizes you're a friend. Once she's past the initial stranger danger, Popcorn turns into a whole new dog! She loves getting to run around and play, especially with her human friends. She's a loyal girl who just needs a gentle best friend to love her for the rest of her days.
We don't know if Popcorn has ever lived with cats, dogs, or children, and we aren't sure how she might behave around them in her future home. We do offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption to help ensure a good fit for the whole family. Popcorn will also be required to meet any dogs in the home prior to leaving the shelter. Popcorn is already spayed, up to date one vaccines, and will leave HSoP with a microchip containing her new owner's information!
