This is Mattie, a 6-year-old bichon frise. After being a mom to numerous litters of puppies, it's her turn to live life on her terms. Mattie has come a long way in the 8 months that I've had her. She does understand to do her business outside, but she cannot hold it for long periods of time. Due to having spent the first 6 years of her life in a crate, she really needs a home where someone is there all day. She is so full of love and loyalty, and she is very smart. She walks well on a leash and will not run away if not on a leash, so a fenced yard is not necessary. She doesn't bark much and gets along well with other dogs and people.
