Lorenzo says you can't buy love but you can definitely adopt it and he's eager to prove his point. He came from a home with too many animals and was chosen to be the one to find himself a new home. No problem, he says. Check out his credentials. He's a 36-pound lap dog who loves to be petted. He is playful, tolerant, and jumpy around children of all ages. He's easygoing, friendly, cautious, and submissive around other dogs. He'll bark at dogs he meets during walks and behaves well at the dog park. He's not a pro at leash walking and will insist on leading. He's moderately active and likes car rides, fetch, toys, and running. He only got into trouble for barking and jumping. He spent his days either outside or in a room and is still working on his house training skills. He'll scratch the wall when he needs to go out. He knows the sit, come, and no commands. CAP adoption fees include a variety of services - age-appropriate vaccinations, canine heartworm, and feline leukemia tests, spaying/neutering, deworming treatment, microchipping to name a few - the total value of which exceeds $450. These minimal adoption fees cover only part of each animal's stay at our shelter - please help us keep adoption fees low while maintaining the high quality of care for the animals in our charge by donating and/or volunteering.
