Loki was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on March 10, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Introducing Loki! The charming Husky with a heart of gold! This sweet boy is as handsome and as affectionate as he can get! Loki is bonded to his best bud, Bella 898319, so they are required to go home together! Loki is ready to find his new family who will cherish his loving personality. Loki is a talker and he likes to communicate and express himself, making him a delightful companion, But to keep him content and engaged, he will need plenty of toys and enrichment activities to stimulate his active mind. He is very food motivated and he is a quick learner and will thrive in a home that's patient and understanding. Give him some time to adjust, and he'll blossom into a loyal and devoted family member. More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
