My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jeanie loves the company of both dogs and people. She's always checking in to see what her brother is up to, but will gladly pause to give her foster mom snuggles. Jeanie knows how to sit, how to run the doggie door and fetch. She is a real cuddle bug and takes whatever comes her way in stride. We expect Jeanie will be a high-energy dog, so she would love a doggy playmate and a fenced yard is a plus but not required as long as she is getting the outlet she needs.

We recommend obedience classes for all dogs, especially puppies. You'll thank yourself for putting in the work to raise well behaved dog!

We believe this puppy is a mixed breed (possibly aussie mix) and was born around 12-10-2023. This puppy/dog is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $400 which helps cover the cost of vetting procedures. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter. If this pet is under 6 months old, it may still need to be spayed/neutered. This procedure is scheduled through Brave by the age of 6 months and the cost is covered through the adoption fee. If you’re interested in adopting this puppy/dog, please submit an inquiry or email BraveAnimalRescue@gmail.com to ask about our adoption process (please check your spam or junk email if you do not hear back from us within a few business days). We are 100% volunteer staffed and will respond to your email as soon as possible. After you have submitted an and been approved, we will set up a meet and greet between you and the puppy/dog. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to learn more about Brave Animal Rescue and our mission.

More about this rescue

We are an entirely foster-based rescue in Lincoln, Nebraska. Because we do not have a physical shelter location, our animals are placed directly into foster homes where they immediately begin learning how to be outstanding companion animals.
