My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gertie: elegance and warmth personified, a captivating 1-year-old cat who is ready to bring a touch of feline magic to your home. With her beautiful tuxedo coat and bright green eyes that sparkle with curiosity, Gertie is more than just her looks - she's a loyal companion who loves to follow you around and sit beside you, offering comfort and company. While she's not a lap cat, Gertie is that cat who has a knack for finding the perfect spot next to you for special moments together.

Gertie's personality shines as an independent spirit who appreciates her own space while valuing togetherness. By day she is often on the lookout for gentle chin scratches and ready to share couch cuddles during quiet nights at home. As your bedtime buddy, she chooses the end of the bed for relaxation, ensuring peaceful nights for both of you.

If you're looking for a loving feline friend, consider adopting Gertie, and let your home be filled with the joy of her unique charm and companionship.

Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. T his cat is in a foster home.  Please fill out our online adoption application and we'll set you up to meet him as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
