My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nickola and Brynn are a very affectionate bonded pair of sisters. Brynn is active and playful, and loves cat trees and shelves. Nickola (gray and white) and Brynn (black and white) also use a cat exercise wheel, which they would like to bring to their new home with them if possible. They also enjoy wand toys, ball toys, and generally find ways to hunt and have fun at home. They love to have an enriching indoor environment where they can climb and scratch on posts. They relax by kneading on their favorite humans. Nickola in particular is sweet and gentle and thrives on cuddles once she has time to get to know and trust her humans. She is very good and puzzles, too. Nickola and Brynn are both very curious and would enjoy a catio or harness and leash training. They are also microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
