My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Confetti, a vibrant 8-month-old Mexican Hairless cross weighing in at a playful 18 pounds. Brimming with puppy energy, this little bundle of joy Is a spirited companion ready to bring laughter and liveliness to any home.
Confetti’s outdoor escapades are a sight to behold, as he unleashes the “zoomies” with enthusiasm, prancing and pouncing on toys with unbridled joy. His zest for life is contagious, and he finds the whole world around him endlessly entertaining.
This sociable pup extends a friendly bark as a greeting to nearby dogs, demonstrating his amiable nature and lack of defensiveness. While Confetti is still learning the ropes of leash etiquette, his eagerness to explore is matched by his potential to become a well-mannered companion with a bit of training. Treats are taken with politeness, although he hasn’t quite mastered the art of sitting for them just yet.
Special care is needed for Confetti’s unique features, as being without fur on most of his body requires attention to prevent dryness and sensitivity to the sun. With the right loving touch and consideration, Confetti is sure to blossom into a cherished member of a home that appreciates his lively sprit and distinctive charm. Consider welcoming this lovable Mexican Hairless mix into your life!

Confetti is a Guardian Angel dog with an adoption fee of $400. Guardian Angel dogs are highly desirable and command an increased adoption fee. This higher fee is used to defray the costs of caring for rescues with special needs, either medical or behavioral, or for those who are with us for unusually long periods of time. In this way our Guardian Angels directly help our other rescues! Adoption fees include spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment by calling 602-971-1334.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Home Fur Good has trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$300 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked.
If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. Fees are non refundable.

More about this rescue

Home Fur Good is a non profit no kill animal shelter located in the NE Valley. We take a majority of our cats and dogs from County, many who have treatable medical conditions and would otherwise be put down. We assess physical and behavior and work with the cats/dogs to find the best suitable match. It is our goal that each cat or dog that comes to our shelter ultimately be placed in their "furever" homes.

We also operate a low cost vaccine and microchip clinic each Sunday. We want to help community be able to care for and keep their animals safe. We do not charge vet fee only fee for vaccine and microchip. Additionally we have a low cost dental clinic each Wednesday. Check our website for more details.
