My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Livia!

Livia entered Orange County Animal Care as a stray, and when she wasn't claimed, we scooped her up on March 20th to become a Frosted Face. She is 11 years old, weighs 20 lbs., and has the most beautiful frosting on her muzzle.

Livia is very friendly and enjoys pets, attention, and treats! Despite her senior status, she is full of pep on our weekly FFF hikes and can easily go 3 miles on the trails! She has good leash manners and does fine walking with other dogs. Livia would be a great walking buddy for someone who wants to go at a brisk pace, but she is happy to adjust her speed to that of her companion.

Livia is a fun-sized sweetheart with lots to offer an active (or not-so-active) family or individual. She loves to snuggle!

Livia is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn what she is like in a home.

So far, we've learned Livia is a pro at keeping herself entertained with cozy naps and fun chew toys while her fling mom works from home. Squeaker toys are her favorite! She is doing well with the cats in her fling home, especially the friendly ones who like to play with her. One of the cats is a bit shy and sometimes hisses at her, but Livia doesn't mind.
