My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Ricky and I'm a 9 month old male Dalmatian that is housebroken. I'm working on crate training as I don't like my crate

However, as cute as I am I do have some things that I need work on. I've only been with my foster for about a month now.

Yes I do have a ton of energy and a fenced in yard would be best for me.

Ricky does get along with other dogs but needs to time to get to know the dog. He doesn't make friends with other dogs right away. No cats as I want to eat them.

After having Ricky I have also learned that he is leary of new people. We are working on that as well. Basically, he is not a dog that anyone can just come up and pet right away. He has never bitten that I know of though. When he meets new people he barks and growls at first. If you give him a few minutes he warms up though.

He has been good with older kids but needs major work on not jumping. Again another thing we are working on with him.

I need a lot of training starting with just the basics like leash walking and stuff.

I have no leash skills and pull hard. We have not been able to work with him on leash training yet but it's on the list.

I know he sounds like a handful but I just know he could become and great companion for someone willing to teach him.

**WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION WHEN YOU SEE THE PUPPY YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.  DO NOT DELAY YOUR APPLICATION SUBMISSION BY SENDING QUESTIONS REGARDING A PUPPY TO OUR GENERAL EMAIL.
