"Hi, my name is Antlia, I am one of the "constellation kitties" and we were born July 2023! I'm a little bit shy at first, but really like to explore new environments and play with my siblings. Humans are a little bit new to me, but I’m learning to really like my pets and treats! I will do best in a quieter home or a home where I have plenty of time to acclimate to my new surroundings, friends, and family."

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Even if you don't know what animal in particular, this step gets you "on the board" and ready to move forward. Refundable $50 deposit due.

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

When you visit, you may find someone else you'd rather take home. It happens a lot! We'll also get to meet you too and ask some questions.

3.
Home Check

We will run our process of checking references, landlord if needed, vet/medical history etc.

4.
Approve Application

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

You will pay the remainder adoption fee at this point.

6.
Take the Pet Home

To adopt, visit our shelter! We do require veterinarian and personal references to adopt. All pets need to be current on vaccinations and have regular wellness vet visits.

organization dedicated to the protection and welfare of animals in La Crescent, Minnesota. We are a committed to providing a no-kill shelter, which means we are always seeking volunteers and foster homes as well as permanent homes for our animals.
