Bonded Pair of Lovebugs Seeking Forever Home

About Us:
Scratch and Sniff are a delightful duo looking for a forever home where they can share their love and joy. Sadly, they found themselves in the shelter when their owner, who was on hospice, passed away. Despite the upheaval in their lives, Scratch and Sniff remain affectionate and sweet-natured. It was their owner's heartfelt wish for them to stay together, and we are committed to finding a loving family who can honor that wish.

Personality Traits:
Scratch: While she may need a little time to warm up, Scratch is a gentle soul who craves security and love. Once she feels safe, she'll reward you with endless purrs and affection.
Sniff: Outgoing and curious, Sniff is the more adventurous of the pair. She's always eager to explore her surroundings and shower her humans with affectionate gestures.
Health and Care:
Both Scratch and Sniff are spayed and up to date on all vaccinations, ensuring they're healthy and ready to embark on their new journey with you.
Ideal Home:
We're seeking a calm and loving forever home where Scratch and Sniff can thrive together. Whether you're a seasoned cat owner or new to feline companionship, as long as you can provide a safe and nurturing environment, you could be the perfect match for this lovely duo.
How to Adopt:
If you're ready to open your heart and home to Scratch and Sniff, please visit eastshoreha.org to submit an application. Once approved, our dedicated staff will reach out to schedule a personal appointment for you to meet these adorable girls and see if they're the perfect addition to your family.

Let's ensure Scratch and Sniff's owner's wish comes true by finding them a loving forever home where they can continue their journey together. Adopting these bonded beauties will not only bring joy into your life but also honor the memory of their previous owner's love and devotion.

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
